Tastes

Weak nose. Orange on the front of the pallette with a herbal middle, finishing with cream. Very smooth drinking for it's strength but lacks complexity compared to other barrel proofs.

Distinctive spicy cinnamon nose that has light rye if you look for it. Smooth rye starts the palette with a spicy burst smoothing quickly. Leaves a long lingering finish with a complex assortment of flavors. Doesn’t burn like many bourbons. I am not a huge fan of the rye dominance.

Light spice overtone on the nose with a full caramel undertone giving hints of Cinnamon. Very smooth on the front of the palette spiking to a spicy burn, though not overwhelming. Complex finish that holds for a time without overwhelming. Food brings the caramel out in the finish.

Very little nose that has some floral note but faint. Spicy up front with a bourbon burn. No complexity in the finish. This as average as it gets.

Floral nose with a caramel undertone. Smoother on the pallette than other batches but still a monster of a bourbon. Spicy but light with a quickly spiking burn. Lasting finish of brown sugar and mild rye and oak with some of the earlier flavors cycling through in good complexity. I squint and I can peel some mint out. This is everything a burbon should be, but probably too big for some.

Floral nose with a hint of honey. Spicy and floral with a small hint of rye. Great color and complexity.

Floral and brown sugar nose. Palette is very spicy with a quick spike of rich burn. Surprisingly smooth finish.

Maple nose with floral undertones. Pallette starts spicy with rising sweet and burn beaking near the finish. Very complex and surprising. Points deducted for being so hard to find. But a 4.5 on its own.

Honey on the nose with some floral notes. Burn peaks in the front of the pallette sweetening quicky with a honey finish. Simple. A really good bourbon that's an easy drinker. Open the bottle to drain fast.

Very spicy nose with a brown sugar undertone. Nose matches pallet. Burn tapers very quick and finishes sweetly. Finish holds on with a nice tingle. This is in my top 5 of value bourbon.
