Reviewed March 25, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Sweet on the nose with caramel, vanilla, and you can sense the sherry from the barreling. Sweet with a thick syrup feel, as berries, honey and vanilla wash across your tongue. A gentle finish that is strong with fresh fruity notes. A lovely dram opened up nicely with a splash of water -
BenRiach Sherry Matured 12 Year (Discontinued)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 18, 2017 (edited April 18, 2017)You can smell the sherry on the nose, along with caramel and oak. Sherry, chocolate, nuts on the tongue. Peppery finish with a smooth buttery late flavour -
Macallan Rare Cask

Reviewed February 21, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Raisins, plums and gentle vanilla notes on the nose. Sherry and dark fruits like plums, raisins and dates flow softly across the tongue. Oak and spice finish. Very complex and a pleasure to drink. Enjoyed neat more than with a touch of water. -

Reviewed February 6, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Barley, apples and honey on the nose. Roasted grains, vanilla and a touch of pepper. The finish is soft and easy, short initially, but a long barley finish if you search for it
