Auchentoshan American Oak

Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 4, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)Butterscotch on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Salty, vanilla, and oak flavours. Soft, woody finish with a touch of burn. Very nice, and very easy to drink -

Reviewed March 29, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)Fruit and mint on the nose, pear comes through as it opens up. Spice and banana on the tongue, with a touch of burn. Smooth finish that lingers on the tongue. -
Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso (Travel Retail)

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

Reviewed March 13, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)Very soft on the nose, perhaps a touch of butterscotch and freshly harvested barley. The flavour steps forward right away, with barley notes and a hint of salted apple. Finish has a burn, that is muted with a few drops of water -
Highland Park 12 Year

Aberlour A'bunadh

Reviewed February 22, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)Strong banana notes on the nose. An odd mixture of fruit and spice on the tongue that go together nicely. Warm yet smooth finish that last for a while.
