Nose is floral and herbal with just a hint of chocolate. Woody taste with a bit of bite to it. Longer finish than most. Some herbs come out, basil and thyme if you're looking for it.

Brown sugar and a bit of alcohol burn on the nose -- expected in a cask strength really. I pick up some fig and light raisin in there too. some sherry notes but doesn't overpower the other scents. Sherry and raisin on the taste. Spicy bite of a cask strength present. A drop or two of water doesn't seem to change it much.

Spicy vanilla nose, like getting a whiff of pure vanilla extract. Sweet on the taste but it's got a spicy bite to it on the finish. A drop or two of water helps a bit.

Sherry aging is obvious on the nose. Higher proof is obvious on the taste, along with fruity grape. Finishes long and a little spicy.

Lovely smoky Irish. Has typical cereal and sweet Irish notes and a kicked up spice and smoke of peat.
