Excellent. Loads of caramel, vanilla, and baking spices.

A bottle of toasted marshmallows and s’mores.

Not my type of rye. Not enough spice. It’s closer to bourbon than to a modern rye whiskey.

Oily and classic Beam nuttiness.

Lots of oak/hay grass flavors on the nose and palate. Tried it neat and barely finished the first glass. Tried it as a mixer and it’s just got such a dominating flavor that it ruins a lot of cocktails. Overpriced with a low ABV but will make a nice infinity bottle when I’ve muscled up the strength to finish it. 7/30/2020
