Has a sweet nose. Leather and tobacco upfront on the pallette. Finish is sweet butterscotch and toffee.

Truly remarkable. Edged out 2018 GTS for the top spot and blew away the 2018 WLW. Did not get the opportunity to try ER or Saz.

Brown sugar and pecan pie! Added a few drops of water and it got a bit sweeter. A bottle that never disappoints me.

Funky on the nose. Not what I remember from WLWs of the past. Initial taste was a burst of red fruit, followed by a long bitter/tannic finish. Was not impressed. Ranked this 3rd amongst the 2018 THH and GTS.

2018 release. Did not live upto the predecessor (2016). Thinner and less of the punch you in the face rye spice. Add a few drops of water and a strong mint note came through on the nose. Biggest disappointment of the evening. Would not pay anymore than msrp for this bottle.

I think the lower proof (compared to previous release) does this one justice. Bursting with red fruit and spice. Delicious!

Another example of a hyped up bourbon that is losing quality as the years go on. 2.5/5
