Light vanilla and cinnamon on the nose and palate, short finish with a decided alcohol note.

First impression was cinnamon overpowers everything and had a hot short finish. After I let it sit for about 10 minutes it was much better. Cinnamon was still prominent on the nose, but there was also some ginger bread, the palate was smooth with cinnamon and vanilla, and the finish mellowed.

Expert tasting notes are close to spot on for me. I also get a little peat smoke on the nose and finish.

Sweet nose and palate with a nice little warm finish. What’s not to like?

Nice flavors and a creamy mouth feel. Too astringent to be a sipper, probably because of the young age. Better on the rocks. Likely a good mixer.

Sweet wood smoke and dried fruit on the nose, smooth vanilla and smokey fruit on the palate, lightly smoked medium finish. This is delicious.
