Enjoyable tradition Nose: A bit of smoke that quickly reveals magarine and vanilla Taste: Oily and smooth Finish: A bit of oak

Its like getting a whiff of grilled salted fish garnished with citrus while relaxing on a park bench on a sunny day Nose: Peat smoke quickly giving way to sweeter fruit and a touch of marzipan in the distance, malt Taste: Light sweetness Finish: Woody furniture shop with a remembrance of moss

Feels like a sunny day standing at a wooden porch and looking out over a vineyard with honey and fruits being laid out at the breakfast table. Nose: Green grapes and apple, a remembrance of kiwi - green fruits, a bite of lemon citrus, light honey, touch of perfume Taste: Light flash of honey and fresh fruit Finish: Short and tart I’m not quite sure if I can appreciate the hype for this Arran. Its a good sipper in summer for sure, but I can’t seem to get the complexity promised in other reviews. Paid good money for this too :(

Feels like a meat-smoking bonfire in the overcast Scottish moors among bearded men Nose: Smoke, revealing smoked bacon with honey, light touch of iodine Taste: Smoked bacon balanced with the countervailing sweetness of dried raisins enveloping your mouth with smokey heat Finish: Long (very long) finish of tobacco and touched of bitter chocolate Note to self: I havent quite detected the ‘Christmas cake’ tasting note in this yet.. but it packs so much flavour and complexity that i can imagine it showing up in future pours!
