Tastes

This is solidly in my top 3 of any whiskey. Alot of people talk about complex whiskey and layers. This is a one note to me but it does that one so well that its excellent. Where some people describe buffalo trace products and red fruit and sweet, this is more like a light medicinal green apple. My friend said it reminds him of apple brandy. It is apple very clearly and a nice tingle like woodford double oak. Its lightly sweet and very smooth. Especially when you factor in the $35 price tag its outstanding value. Only sad part is I am told its manufacture discontinued.

This is amazing. I liked the neck pour, it was smooth and sweet and rolled gently into the flavor. A few days later, it really opened up, you get this sweet carmel but softer than most, and it rolls into a tingly sensation and reminds me of Woodford Double Oaked, and then finished off with a nice slight nutty flavor and lingers a long time.

Perfection. I will add tasting notes on the 2nd go round.

Wow, mind blown. For $19 this bourbon is very similar to Bowman Brothers Small Batch. Its very rich red fruit, apples and cherries up front, nice and sweet. A tiny hint of barrel and then a slight cherry cough syrup thickness at the back. Overall I love it and would happily keep this in my collection!

Nice hit of apple, wood, maybe a hint of apple cider vinegar in a good way, little spice at the end. Big flavor. Tried this side by side with Blantons which tasted like sugar water after this. Drinks very smooth like an 80 proof. One of my favorites.

Delicious fruit and citrus, light peat I think, no smoke flavor. Ultra smooth and a tiny whisp of smoke on the finish. So perfect.
