Reviewed March 3, 2024 (edited March 12, 2024)Spicy but not a heavy alcohol burn. Nose is vanilla and raisins. Very light flavor, no smoke or peat. Clean flavor and high quality. -
Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac
Cognac — Cognac, France
Reviewed February 15, 2024 (edited May 22, 2026)I only get overwhelming bitter flavors and unfiltered tannins. I enjoy bitter profiles but this is all I taste. Like chewing on grape seeds. -
Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt

Reviewed August 25, 2023 (edited November 19, 2023)A little harsh and biting. Vanilla and apple with cinnamon undertones. Not noteworthy.14.0 USD per Pour -
Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed April 9, 2023 (edited September 14, 2023)Nose is smokey and leather. Not much peat. A little sea spray. Taste is initially sea, leaning heavy into smoke while swallowing. Not very complex, and the mouthfeel is quite thin. However, it is smooth. Finish is light peat. For the same money, I’d rather choose a single malt.75.0 USD per Bottle
