Nose had a high alcohol with plum and raisin. Initial taste is oily, tarry rope, and slight alcohol. Turns salty but oily remains. Very smooth, great flavor. Mouthfeel is thick.

Raisiny and syrupy. Oaky flavor with light smoke. Very smooth.

Spicy but not a heavy alcohol burn. Nose is vanilla and raisins. Very light flavor, no smoke or peat. Clean flavor and high quality.

Very earthy mushroom flavor profile. Lots of peat and smoke. Mouthfeel is thin like all Johnnie whiskies. Very earthy and lingering aftertaste. My first tasting of Blue, and honestly I prefer the flavor profile of Green.

A little harsh and biting. Vanilla and apple with cinnamon undertones. Not noteworthy.

Very peaty but not a ton of smoke. I get an initial taste of cinnamon, followed by liquid peat. Slight sailinity, and the finish is smooth. An excellent peated scotch. Good mouthfeel.

Tastes very young. Watered down it still has a raw alcohol vapor flavor. Kind of offputting. Also getting cereal and caramel. Not a top choice, it really needs a few more years in the barrel.

Nose is smokey and leather. Not much peat. A little sea spray. Taste is initially sea, leaning heavy into smoke while swallowing. Not very complex, and the mouthfeel is quite thin. However, it is smooth. Finish is light peat. For the same money, I’d rather choose a single malt.
