Glendalough Double Barrel Single Grain
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed May 28, 2020 (edited July 5, 2020)Sweet syrupy nose, hints of vanilla and honeysuckle also appear given some time. Flavour is pretty light with a bit more floral notes showing up. Has a bit of a cream soda or cola flavour as well. Finishes like liquorice. Good budget bottle! -
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed March 2, 2020 (edited April 12, 2020)Very soft on the nose, honey and floral with citrus hints creeping in. Very rich and explosive on the palate. Yummy baked goods and baking spice notes. Finishes peppery with some sort of mineral or medicinal note. Very delicious!
