    Fragrant of baking spice and brown sugar. Orchard fruit and nuttiness seep into the palate nicely, followed by a rich and spicy aftertaste. Great well-rounded dram.

    Salted caramel sweetness on the nose, with bubblegum and slight almond brittle. On the palate there’s a slight hint of coffee with white grape, lemon and vanilla. The finish is somewhat vegetal and has a hint of honeysuckle.

    Smells very musty, like maple bacon. You can really smell the brine and salt on this one! Very strong fruitiness sherry bomb on the palate, specifically cherry and plum. Finishes tangy and peppery.

    Honeysuckle and baked goods on the nose, maybe snickerdoodle. Peat comes through on the palate with spiced apple goodness. Finishes like a strong minty toothpaste. Overall, a little light, but if you can find it for a good price it’s nice.

    Wonderful sherry sweet and fruitiness on the nose. Vegetal freshness and cream soda too. Syrupy sherry goodness floods the palate, good orchard fruit flavour, and caramel. Finish is full of liquorice and dried fruit. Great example of a sherried whisky.

    More of a strong liqueur than a whiskey. VERY sweet, done well and not harsh though. It’s peanut butter, but the nose is perfectly what peanut butter smells like whereas the palate is more sugary sweetness.

    The nose is syrupy, musty and dried fruit or fruit leather. Palate just kicks ass, intense orchard fruit bomb, as well as some orange peel. Finish is long and a little spicy, some black liquorice and black pepper. Killer dram!

    Baking spices on the nose, caramel, a tad vegetal. The sherry casks come through strongly on the palate with sweet syrupy orchard fruit. Finish is fruit leather and pepper spice. Great if you can find it at a good price.

    Burnt rubber, tar, smoke and syrupy sweetness on the nose. Intense peat and cola flavours as well as some grassy notes rush into the palate. This is followed by an earthy, forest floor, medicinal sort of finish.
