Easy nose with hints of leather, spice. Nice full mouthfeel with some heat upfront on the palate. Finishes with a lot of spice, oak, and a bit of citrus. Not a very complex bourbon to me - originall picked up a lot of oak but it’s calmed since bottles been open. Liked it better with some water to bring down heat. Makes a good old fashioned! Updated: not much of a nose but getting a lot of seeetness on the taste. Cherries, citrus with deeper cherry taste (think luxardos) and oak in finish. Lots of cinnamon, caramel, spice in the nose. Palate comes with heat and lots of classic bourbon flavors but with rye spice - it’s sweet, oaky, cinnamon, chocolate, caramel. Finish is long and full with apple pie, vanilla. Love this! "Picked up on pear and heavy banana on the back end. Bit of spice on the palate with very pleasant nose. This was a single barrel store pick from Tower out of ATL. Really enjoyed this bottle. Hints of Carmel and toffee on nose. Smooth drinker with easy heat. Pick up in the Carmel, vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate. Great dram on a cold winter night!
