Sweet Rye on the nose. Mild on the palate - Really smooth. Get marshmallow, caramel, rye but not the pepper spiciness that may expect. It’s sweet and smooth on a medium finish.

Really enjoy this dram. Nose is herbal with hints of honey. Nutty, Pepper, and spice on the taste with nice long finish. Get the sherry and dried fruits with a bit of water.

Ferdie’s Discount Wine and Liquor store pick - OBSV Sweet oak and caramel on the nose. Get the same notes in the taste. I do pick up on a pear note but I gotta say there is heavy oak on the single barrel. It’s hot oak, but add some water and let sit and it mellows and other flavors come out. Finish is nice and long, enjoyable. Intrigued to try some of their other yeast strands and mash builds. I’ll be keeping an eye out for other private selects!

Sweet nose with cherry, charred oak and marshmallow. The cherry and s’mores come in on taste also. Get some low heat on back end and medium to long finish. Very pleasant pour!

Green oak, cinnamon, grain spice on the nose. Get earthy, grass spice in the taste. Hint of cinnamon from the nose comes through on taste also. Sweet heat hits roof of mouth on the finish but aside from sweet heat not much there - short. Overall, I like this dram - good sipper for me. Updated: enjoy this more each time I have it. Now getting some red apple on nose. Not quite as cinnamony on taste, but still sweet. Much longer finish than initially tasted. Great bourbon for $30!
