A great and powerful speyside! So full of rich fruit and a lovely spice ride. The nose is sweet and dense of candied oranges and apples. The palet is full of rich cherries and something like honey glazed fruits. Spice comes right up at the end and finish long and smooth with a slight spice on the end.

A solid blend from an awesome distillery! Well balanced for a great experience for a young blend.

A great powerfully Smokey and Sherry heavy offering from Ballechin! Dark and mysterious in color, Smokey and powerful at the cask strength of 54.6% and full of dark fruit, loads of spice, potentially the spiciest scotch I’ve had, where the peat comes second!

A solid offering by pampas’s box with one of my favorite scotches “Coal Ila” making over 60% of this great blend.

A incredible offering for a three year old that is mature beyond its years. Absolutely packed with flavor and pleasantly lacking that young burn and edge sharpness. Yet another impressive from the young and up and coming distillery.

A clean lovely easy going cambeltown whisky that is sweet and lovely. However I can’t properly rate this because I had a 63% Scotch Malt Whisky Society right before. And it was a lovely powerhouse of highland park. “Heathery Smoke and Crashing Surf”

Beautifully balanced, uniquely minty fresh finish. So refreshing in a spicy sweet way. Reminds me of walking through a evergreen trees on a brisk winter morning. :) Nose: very light, not much there. Palate: everything in a delicious and delicate way. Finish. Medium but oddly and impressively refreshing and minty.

A lovely smooth dark fruit offering from Highland Park! Nose: dark fruits, with some sweet apples, Palate: incredible balance of wood spice, sweet fruit, and gorgeous smoke that dances on your tongue Finish: a lovely spice finish, beautifully balanced and a longgggg finish to stay.

For the price, an extremely solid Irish single malt. Brings classic, almost Japanese like flavors but on the simple side. Very enjoyable not complex but not expensive either.
