This is very good bourbon. Corn forward nose. Tobacco, caramel, honey, dark cherry. Palate brings the heat. Peach cobbler. More dark cherry. Long finish. Palate sometimes similar to OF1920. Very close runner up to GB, but at a fraction of the cost. Would recommend to anyone! I use the rating scale below. Distiller uses a scale of 5 and I use a scale of 10, but I’m sure you’re not too drunk to do the math! 1. Disgusting - So bad I poured it out. 2. Poor - I wouldn't consume by choice. 3. Bad - Multiple flaws. 4. Below average - Not bad, but many things I'd rather have. 5. Good - Just average. 6. Very Good - Better than average. 7. Great - Well above average. 8. Excellent - In a league of its own. 9. Incredible - An all-time favorite. 10. Perfect

Again, definitely always worth a shot to pick up a JD “craft” whiskey because they do a great job making unique bottles. This one is true to its name - a bourbon with some dried grape / red wine flavors on the back end. Decent juice but not the best of the recent release. I use the rating scale below. JD does a great job with the “craft” whiskeys they produce. Always very unique and worth picking up. This one tastes like a barbecue potato chip and has notes of what sitting around a campfire tastes like. Super interesting. I use the rating scale below. Very unique bourbon. Had a small taste, but it is unlike anything I’ve had before. Very light, herbal nose but palate is very dry grape and medicinal. Damn good. Was blinded this and I thought it was a high rye bourbon. Definitely drinks lower than the proof. Very good rye, but not worth $300 secondary. I use the rating scale below. Just OK. Very sweet nose due to being Canadian. Slight pepper and rye spice. It not overly spicy. Very similar to Alberta Premium but not as good. Sweet and long finish.
