Very corn forward. Sweet. Lots of caramel and cinnamon. Breakfast bourbon. Tastes like cinnamon crispix. Long finish and good mouthfeel. I use the rating scale below. Distiller uses a scale of 5 and I use a scale of 10, but I’m sure you’re not too drunk to do the math! 1. Disgusting - So bad I poured it out. 2. Poor - I wouldn't consume by choice. 3. Bad - Multiple flaws. 4. Below average - Not bad, but many things I'd rather have. 5. Good - Just average. 6. Very Good - Better than average. 7. Great - Well above average. 8. Excellent - In a league of its own. 9. Incredible - An all-time favorite. 10. Perfect

Nose is maple syrup. Very sweet and corn forward. Slight spices and cinnamon. Some peanuts and cereal. Pleasant nose. Palate is bright and heat is centered in center of tongue. Slightly light mouthfeel but this is a young bourbon and it drinks older than it is. Medium finish. Overall a great bourbon from a local distillery. Excited to see what they come up with in the future as their barrels age. 10. Perfect

Smoke Wagon Small Batch Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Nevada), USA
Reviewed November 8, 2020 (edited December 15, 2020)Great bourbon. Very “MGP-ish” with the marshmallow and soft spicey nose. More fruit on palate than the Straight Bourbon and the UC/UF. Medium-long finish that’s round and coats the tongue nicely. Probably my favorite MGP juice along with the UC/UF. I use the rating scale below. Distiller uses a scale of 5 and I use a scale of 10, but I’m sure you’re not too drunk to do the math! 1. Disgusting - So bad I poured it out. 2. Poor - I wouldn't consume by choice. 3. Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2020 SE4 x PR5
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 9, 2020 (edited January 1, 2021)Nose very similar to RC6 - maple syrup, briny, earthy, woody, caramel sweetness. Extremely unique. Unfortunately the SE4 doesn’t pack a punch like the RC6 and the palate is lacking. Very pleasant but too light to be exceptional. I will still recommend it to everyone that wants a good unique bottle but it’s edged out slightly by the RC6. Edit: Came back to this after a bit and did another side by side. The SE4 is still lacking on mouthfeel and finish, but the taste is a bit more pleasant. More fruits and less earthy flavor and tobacco/mint than RC6, which I like. 8.
