The nose is great - apple, caramel, and lemon zest. The palate is similar with some grass and toffee notes in there.

I didn’t expect a scotch so light to have such a complex flavor. There’s tons of apple with hints of butterscotch, vanilla, dried plum, white pepper, and a bit of smoke. The finish is quick and dry which leaves you wanting another sip.

The nose is awesome - equal parts sweet and peat. Each time you take a sip you get a different sweetness - chocolate, raisin, sherry, honey - with the perfect amount of smoke to balance it out.

Obviously spicy and hot due to the proof, but it really spreads out in your mouth so it doesn’t burn. There’s a distinct floral taste that lingers and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Fantastic rye!

Act 8, Scene 2. Tons of baking spice, rye flavor, pepper, and butter up front. It’s oily and stays in your mouth, but doesn’t burn. The port barrel finish is the perfect amount of sweetness to end a sip on.
