Beautiful syrupy mouthfeel taken from the highly viscous dessert wine casks it’s aged in. This bourbon starts immidatley with sweet licorice and vanilla with the later being felt throughout the experience. Strong pepper spice through the middle finishing with an almondy bitterness.

Shallow hints of vanilla and berries, no doubt taken from the port casks it’s finished in, gives way to chocolate and earthy tones as the bourbon makes it way across your pallet ending with a leathery appeal

Very smooth, lots of chocolate comes through on this one. One of the best I’ve had at this price point

Went through it too quick and when review time came I couldn’t remember anything other than it was good! The sherry notes are prominent, the oak and spice hit strong in the first act and works it way seamlessly into dark fruits, dates and figs with a clean finish.
