Another overrated bourbon...It's average at best. Nose to palate not too exciting, but the finish is the best part...and that isn't great either.

A well balanced scotch. When you are ready for peat then this is the one to start with trying. It didn't make me hungry for food, but I did want more of this scotch

Not impressed...If I'm going to have TN whiskey, I expect 🍌. It's unfortunately weak in the SB.

The more I have...the more I like it. The wine favors add a deeper, sweeter note. The higher proof is a plus, too.

To a refined palate, this whiskey taste like ass with a corn cob in it.

I don't get the tobacco in the tasting notes. It's a solid Scotch! Enjoyable to the end...
  7. Pikesville Straight Rye

High rating for a Rye...Distiller notes spot-on. It's better with ice. I tried neat but was overwhelmed with rye spices. The ice brings out the flavors.
  8. Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon

Too much hype on this one...can you say typical SB bourbon? Nice for a bourbon but one note. 😐
  9. Westward American Single Malt

American Single Malt — Oregon, USA

Upon opening, Westward has a pleasant unique bourbon taste. On the nose, I get...sigh...usual bourbon but SURPRISE, something different on the palate and finish. One of the best bourbons I have rated.
  10. 1792 Sweet Wheat

    Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Sweet wheat is the weakest of the 1792 line-up. Save your money for scotch.
