Color is a nice bright honey gold. A smoke plus earthy honey scent. Taste comes in with smooth and sweet fruity with a pleasantly long aftertaste. Exceptional. Brings in a roasted marshmallow and dry vanilla after a bit when it opens up. Further down the road is a smooth cinnamon. Best Laphroaig I have had yet.65.0 USD per Bottle

Ron Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva Rum
Aged Rum — Venezuela
Reviewed October 24, 2023 (edited December 29, 2023)This is a whiskey drinker’s rum. Dark brown. Nose is a boozy vanilla dry brown sugar. Fruity complex caramel scent of your tounge. Fairly light and thin consistency. Dry and fruity when it hits the mouth, and actually tastes like a light highland scotch. Aftertaste is moderately long and more light fruity. No burn at all. My only complaint is that it would be much better with a little higher proof.48.0 USD per Bottle -

Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 5, 2023 (edited August 22, 2023)This bottle is right on. Fruity cinnamon scent. Charcoal sour apple and maple taste and long aftertaste. Smooth aftertaste. You really feel this way down with a pleasant warm. Maybe best suited for a cool fall day. Great.50.0 USD per Bottle -
Very pale gold. Its thin. Smells floral and very fruity. Pull away and smells dark vanilla too. Same taste. Short aftertaste. Pretty easygoing and drinkable. Probably a great mixer, but definitely an easy sipper. Would be better if they turned the flavor up more, and very light for the proof, but good overall.

The name Wild Turkey 101 is perfect. Bourbon 101. Nose is sweet toffee and cherry vanilla. The consistency is thin for the proof, but plenty of amber gold color. Taste is more is the same from the nose. Lingers for a decent time but smooth and not too hot. A good chew opens this up. Its about as expected compared to the Rare Breed, but can’t argue with the value at this price.

Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 29, 2023 (edited July 10, 2023)Love this complex and deep layered version of that wild Turkey whiskey. Very light gold color. Smells sweet caramel with red apple. Progresses from sweet to dry along the taste. Smooth and light burn but well smoother than anything 110 proof should feel. This vaguely remins me of Rare Breed, but less heat. Great freaking whiskey.60.0 USD per Bottle
