Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye
Other Whiskey — IrelandReviewed June 29, 2019 (edited April 25, 2021)This is a cool whiskey. Bought it cause I like rye and hot whiskies, and my lady usually sticks with slightly-sweet Irish whiskey. It is lingering in the back of my mouth really nicely. It's oily, in a way, but then the heat and floralyness of it makes it feel dryer and lighter. Def an interesting drink!

Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky
Single Grain — JapanReviewed March 23, 2017 (edited October 2, 2018)Yum! I was worried it was going to be too heavy because it was tasting sort of sweet, but it was very enjoyable.

Lock Stock & Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey 13 Year
Rye — CanadaReviewed February 18, 2015 (edited October 2, 2018)This is impeccable. This rye doesn't kick too much or weigh you down. It seemed pretty clean and balanced. It seemed dryer or maybe slightly smoky? It was such a different taste then I normally expect from a rye I has trouble making out some of the complexities! Bravo, Lock, Stock, and Barrel-- you are a lovely rye.
Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Tobermory 10 Year
Single Malt — Islands, ScotlandReviewed September 2, 2014I tried this shortly after eating a salted honey scone -- I felt like the scone and the scotch were remarkably similar. The salt was pretty apparent to me. I liked this pretty well.
High West Rendezvous Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USAReviewed August 25, 2014 (edited October 25, 2015)I like how this lingers. It doesn't just kick ya and leave. It stays around and plays and dances on your tongue.
