Tastes

Has a lot going for it (love the bergamot and lemon notes) but a little too sweet for my taste. Would like to see it with more bitter elements, but have found that a half ounce or so adds a nice twist to various gin drinks or even spritzes with an amaro/aperitivo that doesn’t completely overpower it.

Gave it another shot, in a spritz this time, and it just doesn’t do it for me. Softly herbal. It’s not bad by any stretch but too subtle for an amaro/aperitivo on my palate.

Fantastic split with Campari in a Negroni, or just sipped neat. A beautiful amaro

Much more herbal and less bitter than Campari. Pretty good but changes the complexion of a Negroni too much for my personal taste. Haven’t tried it this way yet but bet it makes a great spritz
