Just re-tasted this. I like it more than I remembered. Took a sip of Jack Daniels to attempt to reset expectations to some kind of standard from the “allocated” bourbons I’ve been trying and then tried this again. Really nice! And easy to find at the store.

This one helped me understand that it’s possible to take the “wheat thing” too far. It’s good but the name fits all too well.

Very solid choice and nice flavors but not my favorite style. I’d compare to Blantons.. which is a compliment.

This one gets 4 stars because it may be my favorite bourbon that I can consistently find at the store or the bar. Excellent flavor. Good value.

Interesting flavor profile. Very nice, but for my taste, doesn’t live up to the hype as well as some of the others from Buffalo Trace.

Too heavy, robust and bold for my taste. Helped me confirm that the sweeter smoother wheated bourbons are more my style.
