Not great but good. At 15 bucks it’s a great value at the price. A typical bourbon, but I challenge you to find a better bourbon near the price that goes down this smooth. Peanut brittle with caramel, the finish is nonexistent so would be perfect for the newcomer. Tasted neat but I believe this might be an incredible mixer .... I’ll update as I bought a case

Old green grapes on the nose, but not in a bad way. Sweet, and decadent mouth feel. With a really short finish. Haven’t been a fan of scotch yet but I am enjoying this ones unique flavor. That peaty thing is really mild and unpronounced. Almost a dessert type deal.

Pretty Good Shit! Mellow all the way through. nose is honey sweetness with a hint of alcohol. Mouth is super smooth with same sweet ride. Finish is short and light. A very inviting sipper for sure. Don’t expect a wow though, it’s not there. Just simple and easy.

A tasty treat. I’m new to scotch, and still working through. This is the first one I’ll definitely go back and buy. Reminds me of honeysuckle on the nose. Smooth honey and light caramel in the mouth (nice mouthfeel). Easy on the way down with a easy hug on the way down.

A good solid sipper. A classic Tennessee whiskey with the bananas and fruit. Definitely comes off stronger on the nose than when you drink it. All maple, caramel, and banana in the mouth. Finish is not long but nice and goes down with a warm hug.

Makers with a much more pronounced flavor profile, but still very smooth and easy to sip. Next to larceny barrel proof, this is my probably my favorite higher proof wheater. I’d say, if you like MM or Weller, you’ll love this.

Deceptive to the nose, delicious in the mouth and a nice but short finish. First sniff gave a good bit of alcohol and then to pretty traditional bourbon smell of sweet and oaky, very smooth once you sip with caramel/fruity notes. The finish is where a lil burn comes in but it dissipates quickly back into the oaky flavor. I really like it and will certainly pick it up at retail when I see it. I’ve seen these way jacked up in price and wouldn’t recommend paying over 50, but if you find it under.....grab it
