Nose- caramel and stinging smell of alcohol Taste- caramel to start then leveling to a sweet with the alcohol present at all times. At times it is slightly harsh, but overall not bad. The spice of the whiskey gives way to a Sweet aftertaste that mellows into notes of apricot and vanilla. Overall- as a budget whiskey it is a powerful whiskey worthy of being an “everyday driver” of any collection. While it won’t compete with its finer bred brethren, it suffices as on its own and the drinker will be stronger because of it.40.0 USD per Bottle

Nose- sweet and fruity. Slightly peaty. Taste- starts out like an Islay with a smoke and peat note. As you let it sit on your tongue the saltiness gives way to sweetness. Then there are notes of pear and finishes with a note of caramel. As the after taste lingers on your tastebuds, you’ll begin to notice the saltiness again. This whiskey is light colored and is a mild peat for an islay.60.0 USD per Bottle

High West Campfire (Discontinued)
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in Utah), Multiple Countries
Reviewed January 9, 2020Smell of bourbon- sweet and vanilla and caramel notes. Nose- can really taste the scotch blend here. Smooth and mellow. Again, caramel and vanilla notes. Not very smoky. Finish- here is where the rye comes in. A hard rye finish with bread notes. A tart cherry finish. Medium to heavy body. A well balanced blend that brings together the best of each whiskey. Not too many notes to over power each other but enough to get something different from when you tip the glass to when you swallow.60.0 USD per Bottle -
