Nose- baking spice (cinnamon and clove) and vanilla. Palate- initial spice, not over powering. Slightly sweet with brown sugar and caramel. Finish- cinnamon and vanilla lead the finish with a mellow oak finish. Slight smoke, but very slight. The spice lingers to the finish with a nice brown sugar and cinnamon sweetness. The spice lingers as well. Overall- A light bodied 10 year bourbon. Very approachable bottled in bond whiskey. I enjoy it very kuch as it gives a little but of everything and is well balanced. Nice spice level, nice sweetness level, and not over powering. A great whiskey for anything from sipping to a cocktail.

Nose- vanilla, toffee and oak Palate- sweet and caramel notes to start. Turning to mixed nuts and vanilla. Finish- walnut and nutty. Toffee like finish. Overall- the french oak provides a different and smooth finish. Adds more vanilla and nut flavors. The french oak provides a different and distinct profile to a bourbon. Adds a unique bottle to the collection.

Nose- honey, vanilla, and apple. Palate- honey, oak and vanilla at the start. A salty sweetness is also present. Finish- slight smoke and moderate peat to finish and a lingering sweetness of honey and plums. Overall- A great highland whiskey that has a little bit for all scotch drinkers. The peat and smoke level is approachable for someone new to Scotch while providing a depth of flavor to those who like a little more than peat smoke. It does a lot of little things well without excelling at any one thing. A great whiskey to have on the shelf for any occasion.

Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 19, 2026 (edited January 20, 2026)Nose- Oak, vanilla and baking spice. Bown sugar and honey notes as well. Palate- dry mouthfeel, sweet caramel and brown sugar with a note of rye spice to start. Slight herbal and floral notes. Herbal and gloral notes make an appearance at this point. Finish- vanilla and oak dominate. The rye spiciness is muted by notes of brown sugar and baking spices. Many layers to this that keep unfolding as the finish lingers. Overall- A lovely and complex bottle. A sugary sweetness balances the rye spice. You get a lot of everything with this bottle- plenty of oak and vanilla from the barrel, caramel and sugary sweetness, rye spice and dryness. A great bottle for any collection and where the peerless distillery really shines. -
Nose- High rye bread notes. Oak and vanilla. Palate- initial cinnamon then bread notes. Wheat flavor. Slight cherry flavor. Finish- lingering rye notes throughout with an oaky vanilla finish. Slight spice, but not much. Overall- high oak notes from 10 years in the barrel. A light bodied whiskey with a depth of flavors. Some flavors are slight. Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 15, 2025 (edited December 30, 2025)Nose- Rye, cinnamon, nutmeg 120.2 proof, batch C921 Nose-oak, vanilla, spice and red cherries. Palate- slight vanilla and oak, very slight wood smoke flavor to start that quickly gives way to a heavy dose of cinnamon and spice. Thicker/ oily mouthfeel. Finish- long lasting barrel finish. Oak/ wood notes doninate here. A rye breadiness flavor lingers the longest. If you wait long enough there is a hint of cherries. Overall- the 12 year bourbon is a great sipper. Will need to sip this at its high ABV. A very good barrel proof edition that opens up something different with each sip. -

Somewhat dry. Baking spices linger. Cinnamon and nutmeg. Finish- a spicy finish that hangs out for awhile. Oak and spice doninate. Vanilla pops back in the long the finish lingers. Overall- A nice bottled in bond whiskey from a smaller distillery. A high rye offering that has plenty of spice. It has all the hallmarks of a bourbon: oak, vanilla, spice. A little more complexity would take this bourbon to the next level, but this is a great whisky nonetheless. -
