Tastes

This was a solid, easy drinker. Not a lot going on, but nothing to dislike either.

Good, solid bourbon that took some hunting to find, and may not be worth that much effort. The finish was really hot for me, but overall a very enjoyable drink. A splash of water or on the rocks really makes this one come alive.

A much better experience for me than the 12 yr. I would compare it to the HP 18 only lacking as much of the smokiness to round it all out. A solid everyday drinker.

Had this at Bob's Steakhouse and really enjoyed it. It had some sweetness to it but some very interesting complex spice and zest as well. Very underrated for the $

An unbelievable experience. Incredibly deep flavors with a finish that lasts for hours. Well worth the hunt

I felt this was overrated. I tried this on the same night I tried Hibiki 21, so this is a bit unfair. Absolutely a very good whisky but the finish was short and the whole experience not as complex as I expected from such a sought after bottle. I may change this if I drink it by itself one night.

Holy hell thats serious stuff. Big, bold, peaty punch in the chest. In the end it's very unique and so I enjoyed it. Couldn't drink it everyday though.
