Same overholt baseline flavor but the higher proof also reflects a more rounded, spicy butterscotch flavor

Brandy casking gives it a big rum sense. Strong mapley-ness and a firey bite without being stringent

Nice, smooth. The french oak barrels blend with the stout fermentation beautifully. Good fruit flavors provide good but sometimes bitter counter balance to these richer flavors.

Pleasant malty undertones that get entirely blown out by a racy fruitiness - almost rye-like with a foul flavored finish

Lots of sherry/raisons on the nose. Reminds me of a more toned back version of westlands sherry barrel whiskey. The difference being here that this whiskey is a bit more smooth, less sweet, and generally palate-able. Nicely rich and butterscotchy.

Strangely sweet for a rye. More soil than fruit

Unusually on the sweeter side for a pested scotch. Impressively stays smooth and not sickly though which lends it a memorable balance
