Tastes

Not a fan.

Caramel, cinnamon and spice on the nose. Taste comes in buttery with caramel and oak. Has good flavor to it and spice but not overly hot. Well balanced and complex, very good.

Very smooth and buttery. Caramel, butterscotch and toffee on the nose. Comes in with butter and toffee then moves into a really smooth buttery finish with maybe a little orange. Very easy to drink. Got more oak on another taste of this, still a very good bourbon.

Nose of wood, herbs, and caramel. Taste rings true to the nose but has a nice sweetness to offset the woody taste and finish is nice while somewhat brief. Decent bourbon.

Caramel, toffee, and butterscotch on the nose. Taste comes in with caramel and a bit of spice and butter. Finish moves into a bit of heat but solid bourbon.

Definitely a grassy rye on the nose with a bit of sweetness. Rye comes in strong on the taste and moves in to a little spice and sweetness towards the finish. Decent rye but nothing overly stands out.

Standard caramel and oak nose. Taste comes in with mild spice, caramel, and vanilla. Sweet and medium thick mouth feel. Goes down smooth and decent finish. Solid all around bourbon.

Medicinal with cherry, fruit, vanilla, and apple on the nose. Taste comes in slightly sweet and buttery, heavy on the fruit, sweet and refreshing. Hint of apple and caramel are present with some woody side notes that are a little different. Thin mouth feel and quite smooth into an easy finish that lingers nicely. I enjoy it.

Little less sweet than the black or gold and more muted flavors but makes up for it in smoothness and a hint more peat to the finish. Very enjoyable.

Slightly smoother and more refined than the black but not substantially so for me.
