Very sweet, fairly smooth. It is what you expect drinking it by itself, like if you watered down a Torani syrup a little bit. But this is standout in cocktails (which is why I bought it). Cocktail ingredients - agave spirit that’s been aged in white oak barrels for a minimum of eight weeks / tawny port wine / apricot liqueur / lemon / agave nectar

When I say “fruity”, it’s a very strong rhubarb note! And not the “sweet dark fruit” people associate amaros with. Like a bitter tart fruit. Delicious! (Also tastes good with Dr. Pepper!)

Such a sweet and tasty amaro! Little lighter and sweeter than Fernet.
