Initaially not knowing what to expect as this is my first taiwanese Whiskey. Nose is extremely flavorful, packed with dark fruity notes from the port cask, a bit of varnish in the back, dark, deep jammy notes of red berries and fruit. Palate is extremely smooth, an amzing mouthfeel. Notes of brown sugar mixed with raspberries and strawberries. Gorgeous whiskey, pleasantly sweet and smooth.

Nose is extremely vegetal and smoky, the peat leads to deep notes of scorched earth and a musty peat. Much like the ask of a fine cuban cigar. The palate is very smooth and subtle, with a little prickle of heat on the back if the tongue. No crazy notes of fruit or sweetness, just a peat forward dram, nothing crazy.
