5/28/18 (Birthday Gift from meowKat) Opened 5/28/18 Wow! This is an incredibly smooth 115 proof bourbon. Especially when comparing to 10yr 100proof Henry McKenna. Nice leather tones and mild smoke. I was very hesitant on this one but glad it’s in the line up!

Nose filled with leather, dill, toasted almonds. First sip and your mouth is instantly filled with melted candy red hots. Then earth tones, leather, wood, juniper and chocolate come thru. Cinnamon and wood on the back end onto a wonder Kentucky hug. Man what a whiskey. Great taste and complexity for a modest price.
