Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso Matured
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed May 16, 2020 (edited January 11, 2022)Sherry forward with a hint of pepper and atomic bite! Very nice expression of the toffee, coffee traditional Glenlivet Scotch with an added bonus of manicured and refined sherry polish. If you like a sherry finished whiskey this is for you. The sherry complexity is among the best I’ve tried. This is a dram good pour! -
This one is dangerous. The pallet pulls for more as the distilled liquid flows over your feel good buds. The smoothness can’t be captured in words. The ripe fruits, coffee, honey, apples and citrus sing together to provide an experience whiskey was made to produce. They do not charge enough for this level of spirit. Enjoy, look forward to your next taste, repeat, repeat....

Macallan Classic Cut (2017 Release)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed May 2, 2020 (edited August 19, 2022)The nose is almost offended by the alcohol flashing off of the liquid but the taste is smooth and pleasing. Ripe raises and fruit fill the pallet. Sweet toffee balances the aged fruit feel. The finish refills the feel of the alcohol and the sweetness lingers. Don’t pass this one up if you have an opportunity! -
