Tastes

The stauning young rye is a nice dram, but underperforms in comparison to Staunings other whiskies. Young, rather fresh and full bodied. It carries the same floral and slightly spicy DNA of all other stauning whiskies.

Not at excellent as the 06.1/167. But still world class Whisky.

Perfection. Hands down the greatest whisky I've tried, and probably ever will try. Too many notes, just an explosion of flavours and aromas. Smooth, soft and round but not in any way polished, so rich and intense. How they manage to get this much flavour into one bottle is truly mind boggling.

VERY GOOD. Peated and easy drinking, nice acidic touch and plenty of depth and complexity.
