Loch Lomond keeps impressing me, got this from a sampler pack. The nose is sweet and a bit dirty. Taste is sweet, some anise, a bit peaty and quite spicy on the tounge. Something that is appealing to me. Aftertaste is quite spicy and a bit peaty, it makes me want to take a second sip.549.0 SEK per Bottle

I picked up a Loch Lomond sampler pack containing this one and the 12, 15 and 18 year old. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much going in, but after a few sips I thought to myself that is actually good. I was enjoying it for sure, it is a bit dirty (in a good way) and very drinkable. For the price point it is very good! This one shows you why you shouldn’t have your mind made up before hehe.299.0 SEK per Bottle

Bushmills 10 Year Single Malt
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed February 22, 2020 (edited April 2, 2020)I opened the bottle a while back and the nose is just brimming with ripe pear. There is vanilla hiding behind it with some other sweeter notes. The taste is quite light and friendly, you would expect to find a lot of pear in it as the nose seems to promise but I can't get that much. Aftertaste turns quite spicy and long with hints of the sherry. I quite enjoy this and it is my first real foray into Irish whisky. By the way, in coffee it is fantastic!379.0 SEK per Bottle -
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 21, 2020 (edited May 30, 2020)Trying some Bruichladdich Classic Laddie and man, those people know what they are doing! On the nose it smells a lot of honey and sweet bright notes. The mouthfeel is viscous and yummy, I get a briney almost meaty taste mixed with great sweetness turning into spicy prickling on the tongue. You wouldn't guess this is at 50% ABV. Aftertaste is long, sweet and spicy and lip smackingly good! Edit: Lowering the score a bit, the last third of the bottle was not as enjoyable.569.0 SEK per Bottle -
Reacquainting myself with one of my first loves and it still holds up after all these years. The smoke is there upfront (the first pour from the newly opened bottle made me think of diesel), but when you let it sit for a while in the glass the sherry starts showing up. I almost get raisins on this mixed with dark fruits and the taste lingers quite long, goes a bit dry at the end which only entices you to take another sip! Might order a second bottle right now, yum!819.0 SEK per Bottle

Springbank 12 Year Cask Strength
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited March 10, 2020)This went from not my cup of tea to enjoyable! The first whisky where adding water enhanced my experience (about a teaspoon to 1,5 oz is my sweet spot). I get hints of anise which I really like and only have noticed in Bunnahabhain 12 before.
