Tastes

Heavy alcohol on the nose. Palate does have a sweet maple and somewhat fruity taste going for it, but you can also taste the youth. The finish I was not a fan of, not sure what it is, but it’s almost like licorice. Definitely not worth the price, but now that I own it will keep testing to see if I warm up to it. Worst case will make a solid mixer.

Nose: Malted barley dominates, some vanilla, maybe a hint of apple? Palate: Caramel popcorn up front, then pear and a bit of grain Finish: More grains, a bit of wood may come through at end All of these are ment in the best way, great go too

Peaty yet sweet, with a bit of oak at the end that comes out more if you add a bit of water. This is one of the best, would love to taste a slightly older cask strength and I wish more scotches started releasing higher proof expressions.

Caramel popcorn, spicy rye fusion, aged well for only 4 years. Very glad to come across this, looking forward to them releasing older offerings eventually.

Haven’t had any of the previous acts, but on its own is a very enjoyable rye that is relatively mellow yet flavorful.

Much more complex than expected.

Always a solid choice, but there are better bottles out there for same price or less.
