Tastes

I disagree with the tasting notes on this, it is still distinctly an Islay with a peat flavour. It is considerably less than that of say, Lagavulin, but it's there. Pretty good whisky.

Pretty good. Not too much stout flavour in it, but pairs really well with pizza and wings. Definitely my favourite Irish yet.

Great scotch, hint of peat but only enough to make you ponder it. Definitely recommend this to anyone as an intro to peat, as well as for someone who wants to sit down by a fire and contemplate existence. All kidding aside it's really good, and good value too.

Delicious sherried scotch. The only reason it's not a 5-star rating is that it's $110 CAD per bottle!

Best bourbon I have ever had. Impossible to find in Toronto though.

Absolutely delicious. Smooth, hint of smoke and sweet. Hard to find though. Paired well with seafood when I had it.

Slightly more spice than shown here, but nonetheless it is lovely. I find it quite similar to Glenfiddich 12.
