Note, this is for the current Moine. This is a nice, balanced Islay whisky. I was impressed given that Bunnahabhain usually does unpeated expressions. It features smoke, seasalt, medicinal notes and a bit of tar on the nose. Similar notes on the palate, but sweeter than one might expect. Good stuff.

Powerful stuff, both on the nose and palate. Probably one of the strongest expressions I've had. The peaty and spicy aromas are great, but it comes on a little strong for my taste. Probably very good if you are really into peat

Light creamy peaty whisky, but perhaps slightly tame. Could stand to be bottled at a bit higher ABV to get a bit more character.

Excellent dram. Fruity vanilla notes with nutty aspects as well. Some floral notes on the nose and palate. Light, smooth and creamy. Some spice as well. Medium Finish.

A bit boring, a perfectly decent dram but much better whiskies are available at this price
