Tastes

This was Vaughn’s gift to me,in that he shared it with me in his birthday. My first scotch. His friend Brian bought him a bottle. It was a wonderful night I will treasure. I’ll never have this without thinking of him. Just what we liked. Caramel. Warm. Interesting and a little adventure to pick out the flavours.

Very smoky. Learned it was best with water.

Clear. Pleasantly unremarkable. Light and clean.

Warming. Somewhat sweet and like a hearty autumn fruit. Great with a meal.

Nice but not knocking me out. Very clear and sharp.

Grassy to me. Banana to others? Light but too crisp for me.
