Revisited a second bottle of this in April of 2021. It's been an interesting two years really focusing on American whiskey. I do believe my interpretation of this would be ever so slightly different today, but it's close. It reminds me of prunes packed in a Maduro cigar box. It remains an outstanding value and I will be sure that every time I get the chance for a bottle, I'll take it nose is vanilla, over ripe fruit, barrel and tobacco soft mouthfeel, warm and smooth and oily Carmel and tobacco front with vanilla notes cinnamon and clove finish mixed with barrel. Peanut and peanut butter all over a few drops of water opened it up a little. excellent value at $35!35.0 USD per Bottle

revisited in August of 2021: I rated about 120 whiskeys since rating this one and I had a chance to revisit it... Nose shows some nice rye notes along with the caramel, baking spices and vanilla. Soft on the palate, mildly sweet throughout, mid has a lot of dry oak. Medium finish rounds out with thoughts of a mounds bar: dark chocolate and shredded coconut. I still believe it's an outstanding value, but at this point I can't give it a 4... This really is a rock solid bourbon for the price. Caramel sweet nose with hints of spice and vanilla. Sweet, full bodied and rich with a long finish a bit of char34.99 USD per BottleYankee Spirits - Discount Liquors, Wines, and Beers
