Pleasant surprise in an old fashioned. A little hot, some char on the nose, with spices and fruit. Warm cereal grain front, followed by some caramel and cobwebs. In a pinch, it'll do!

Hot nose with notes of vanilla, Barrell char, cigars and rolled grains. Surprisingly sweet front with lots of warmth following. Some cacao, tobacco and oak. Opened up a little with a few drops of water revealing more of the malt, but still very warming

candies, cinnamon, vanilla, caramelized sugar, ripe fruits a bit smokey, oak char and chocolate notes. sweet and smooth awesome balance

cornflakes, Belgian trippel, sweet fruit, phenols and esters. warm sweet front with a bit of spice and light grains on the finish some cobwebs and semi sweet hay

this is a solid bourbon for the cost. golden straw, vanilla, some fruit and dry grains spicy front, warm palate sweet finish some spicy notes linger

light caramel, fruit and hints of some kind of spice on the the nose. sweet, light and dry oak. warming, even on a hot day. hot palate with a long warm spice finish. well balanced and delightful

batch #8518 warm nose with a lot going on. hints of mint or eucalyptus with dark caramel and vanilla... oakey flavors throughout with pepper notes and barrel at many stages. warm finish with great balance. hints of grain bounce with spice and caramel

Re-rate Feb 2021 Golden straw, slight amber hue. Many speedy legs. nose of light caramel, some kind ripe fruit toasted cereal grains. flaked rye, brulee warm front with sweet palate and return warmth of spices trail off into sweet finish. Honeysuckle all over this, a hint of eucalyptus. a lot going on here. had thoughts of damp, fresh cut hay... And a dry cookie...

nose of caramel, toffee, candy with some vanilla and floral hints sweet with a warm finish and barrel notes lingering... superbly balanced

nose is cereal grain, spices and balsa wood with some hints of fruit, vanilla and char. soft but astringent warming palette. starts a bit sweeter... hints of fruit, but finishes with all spiciness. makes a wonderful old fashioned with molasses bitters, but is very drinkable neat!
