Reviewed August 26, 2019 (edited December 20, 2020)Hot nose with notes of vanilla, Barrell char, cigars and rolled grains. Surprisingly sweet front with lots of warmth following. Some cacao, tobacco and oak. Opened up a little with a few drops of water revealing more of the malt, but still very warming -

Re-rate Feb 2021 Golden straw, slight amber hue. Many speedy legs. nose of light caramel, some kind ripe fruit toasted cereal grains. flaked rye, brulee warm front with sweet palate and return warmth of spices trail off into sweet finish. Honeysuckle all over this, a hint of eucalyptus. a lot going on here. had thoughts of damp, fresh cut hay... And a dry cookie...
