Neat I get lots of spice and vanilla. Creamy and spicy with a tiny bit of nuttiness. In my glencairn the proof overwhelms a lot of anything else you get on the nose. makes a terrific old fashioned with a splash of simple syrup, slice of orange and some ango orange bitters. Gets + a half star for the price / value.22.99 USD per Bottle

Rogue Spirits Oregon Single Malt Whiskey
American Single Malt — Oregon, USA
Reviewed March 10, 2020 (edited March 19, 2020)Light and balanced, no one note dominates. Spice apple cinnamon and vanilla. Not much of a nose. Reminds me of Buffalo Trace, with a bit longer finish. Either way a solid choice, though not my favorite in their spirits lineup. -
Mayfair London Dry Gin
London Dry Gin — London, England
Reviewed March 10, 2020 (edited March 19, 2020)A little one-noteish but it's a decent note. I use it for a rocks martini when I don't want to use my Monkey 47. -
The Old Malt Cask ALLT A'BHAINNE
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 10, 2020 (edited March 19, 2020)Rich with caramel, chocolate, toffee, apple, coffee, cinnamon and spice. Balanced complex and beautiful. Like an Art Tatum ballad. -
Brenne French Single Malt Whisky
Single Malt — France
Reviewed March 10, 2020 (edited March 19, 2020)Cream and vanilla galore at first, with a big kick of spice at the end. A bit discordant but nevertheless tasty. -
Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 10, 2020 (edited March 26, 2020)Spice from start to finish, with caramel and some cinnamon making an appearance. A bit unbalanced (too much oak?) for my tastes but very good.
