Tanqueray Rangpur Gin

Tanqueray Rangpur Gin was first introduced in 2006 and is named after the Rangpur lime that is included in the recipe. Rangpur lime, which is not a lime but a hybrid of a lemon and mandarin orange, is one of the several botanicals, including juniper, bay leaf, and ginger, that is used to make this spirit.
Distilled GinThis style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavorings before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors (artificial or natural) and sweeteners may be added.
"The juicy mandarin really comes through on the aroma, covering up the juniper actually. As you taste, the ginger and juniper make appearances, the Rangpur lime is still holding strong. So as not to cover the gin's unique botanical, best to serve as a Spanish style gin and tonic or in a Gin Rickey to have the gin be the star."
