Laphroaig 15 Year 200th Anniversary
Single Malt — Islay , Scotland
Reviewed October 30, 2015 (edited July 12, 2016)Far more polite than the Laphroaig 10. It's peaty, with dried fruits. Wisps of smoke and expensive Harrod's candy selection. Really enjoyable and accessible. -
Armorik Classic Single Malt
Single Malt — Brittany, France
Reviewed October 30, 2015 (edited April 3, 2016)I guess it's kind of like a stereotypical Islands dram. It's a little whiff of fruit, a little bit of peat and salt, a little bit of alcohol... It's drinkable, and a conversation starter, if you decide to call it French. -
Glenfiddich Age of Discovery Red Wine Cask 19 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed October 30, 2015This is my favorite of the trio. Gentle scents of Glenfiddich fruit greet you. Going in, a little spice, a little leather. It lingers a little on the way out, kinda like wine, actually... surprise surprise.
