for me, first sip made tongue & lips tingle with the combo of spice & proof. took a bit to get through the punch to find the layers, but they’re there. ice cube took away some middle & brought the sweetness out. great feel, viscous like crazy. possibly the closest to bookers this line has been, which for almost 35% more money may not be a good thing value-wise.

2018 - 200ml 109.1 proof Batch #150423202 sweet sweet sweet. lots of front end with a hint of oak mustiness in the finish.

675 of 2323 Batch# 21F11898 a whiskey that is as rich & pleasant as you could want. new bottle pour needed to sit a couple minutes & opened up beautifully.

if this was just a bit more refined it would be amazing. even so it’s a solid drink. good spice, just enough rye/dill notes to hold up the rye end.

solid jim beam profile of peanuts & burnt caramel. not much on finish for me, but still a good pour

if there was ever a definition of “smooth” whiskey, this is it. very enjoyable & classy.

a rye to be reckoned with. let it sit & open up for a good 5-10 minutes. amazing balance of flavors.

for me, no richness or savory notes. thin & acidic. very little to enjoy. this seems to be a polarizing release, either you’re built for it or you’re not
