I have been on this app for a while but the 78 score is one of the most bogus expert scores i have seen here. This easily goes toe to toe with the Midwinter Nights Dram.

Nose: Maple syrup and oak bomb, Rye pine, Burnt sugar. Palate: Drying oak, tannis, sweetness, caramel. Decent mouthfeel Finish: This is where the rye kicks in. Rye spices. Dill. Surprisingly medium to long finish. Torn between a 3.75-4 on this one. Solely drink, 3.75. But factoring in price and availability its value is a 4. Final thought: This reminds me so much of a Woodford Double Oaked but with a Rye finish. Beautiful combo of the double oak with a rye. Will keep a bottle of this on my shelf. And because of price and availability, ill prob reach for it often.

Light floral n fruit (on the nose, I found that a tad unique for a bourbon). Palate medium feel. Finish was slightly salted, caramel, oak. Ok bourbon but not special. Def doesn’t hold its weight for it’s $80 price tag. Would have rated it 2.5, but gave it an extra half star becuz of its unique cool story and the unique salty note on the finish that I’ve never tasted in a bourbon.

Classic bourbon notes. Vanilla, oak, and caramel. Very well rounded tho. Nice 110 proof tho to give a subtle heat. My neck pour I wasn’t a fan. Didn’t understand the hype. After it aired out instantly became my fav bourbon that I don’t have to search for or pay secondary prices. Now my backup bottle has a back up. Lol

For its proof, price, and availability one of the most solid ryes. Very flavorful. Brown sugar and baking spice on the nose. Medium nice coating on the palate. Cinnamon, rye, spice, sugar on the finish. This reminds me of a bourbon-ish rye if that’s even a thing. This is a rye that I would introduce a bourbon drink into rye with.
