Super sweet on the nose, I get tart apples, baking spices. I taste the oak, it's a subtle hint, not too overwhelming. The usual vanilla and caramel round out what was labeled "Pie Crust"

I call bull on the 100 proof, the heat isn't there. The signature rye spice is very subtle and is more present in the aftertaste. I can't place the aroma at the forefront but there is very little to no ethanol on the nose. Great whiskey to enjoy neat if you like the spice of rye.

Butterscotch and oak. Has a very oily mouthfeel with the pepper coming in joining the party. Nice long finish.

I'm a big fan of Little Book, it is a rye whiskey which is not my favorite. Although the Rye spiciness is not there like with most. I can't tell its 118.8 proof as it does not have the burn it should (dare I say smooth like an amateur)
