Spicy, but colorful. Taste of dried fruit and sweetness on top of layers of oak and wood. Would have enjoyed it more if it wasn’t so spicy, it’s spicier than some ryes I’ve had

Very rich, sweet, and earthy, hint of peet. Smooth on entry but burns while swallowing. Not a bad whisky but not my favorite.

Tasty, spicier than expected. Once you get past the spice, it’s a rich, grounded, sweet flavor almost reminiscent of Hibiki

A little bit sweeter, smooth. Hints of honey, caramel. Almost reminiscent of Irish whiskey, but has the same maltiness of bourbons (which makes sense considering the Bourbon mash)

Lots of spice and floral notes. Bit of honey on the palette. Burns coming in and going down. Drunk straight, not one of the better whiskies I’ve had. But very good in a mixed drink.
