Best ECBP batch we’ve had since C919.

Nose: salted caramel, toffee and nougat. Palate: underripe banana, more salted caramel and toffee, spicy cinnamon bark, peanut brittle, rum raisin bread pudding. Finish: Long with more of the same dessert notes, doughy cinnamon rolls, and underripe banana. Even at cask strength it’s still very drinkable and quite enjoyable. I’m not usually a fan of cask strength sherry bombs, but this one is magnificent. The salty notes help taper the sweetness of the sherry, making this a very well balanced dram.

Somehow less smoky and medicinal than the regular (43%) 10 year. New rubber and salmiakki notes, sour green apple, with some nice chocolate covered pretzels. With water added it becomes more familiar with notes of iodine, bandaids and antiseptic. Still quite different than the non CS version that we all know and love.

Youthful grassiness with loads of citrus and herbaceous notes. Green peppercorns. A little earthy. Definitely a tasty rye that I find myself coming back to every now and then.

Definitely better value than Corryvreckan. Great whisky if you can find it at msrp ~$85. Otherwise just get the uigeadail.

Decent rye, definitely getting a lot of nutty beam notes here, fairly oily mouthfeel. Probably a barely legal rye so it’s giving more traditional bourbon notes with a little added spice. Only thing that surprised me was the slightly short finish for the proof.

Perfect daily drinker, a lot of people sleep on this bourbon, but it’s got a lot of value especially for a wheater.
